MRS. CATHERINE HAMMAN

Of 431 Willow avenue, died at 12.02 o'clock Saturday noon at the home of her sister, Mrs. Emma Bierly. She was born in Homers gap May 15, 1878, the daughter of Daniel and Mary Ellen (Bowers) Fry and was married to Fred Hamman, who died 39 years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret McWee and Mrs. Catherine Scrugham of Altoona; the following sons: Albert W. of Zelienople,, Levi F. of Cleveland. Daniel C. and Gordon 0. of Altoona; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Bierly of Altoona and Mrs. Anna Crain of Juniata. She was a member of the Fourth Lutheran church for many years. Friends will be received at the Mauk S. Yates funeral home.
