James “Jim” was born to James Earl Sr. and Betty Jane (Spade) Miller. They preceded him in death.

He is survived by his brother, Gary (Alice) Miller; by his sister, Janice (David) Atkinson; and several nieces and nephews.

Jim joined the U.S. Air Force upon graduation from Palestine High School in 1966.

He worked for many years as a skilled steamfitter technician, and was a member of Steamfitters Local 353.

With his military service and trade taking him around the globe, Jim led a colorful life.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will take place at Kirk Cemetery in Robinson, IL.
