Thu, May 17, 1945, The Valdese News, Valdese, NC, p 5-P. A. Abee Rites At Hildebran Church. Funeral services for Pinkney A. Abee were conducted Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at Bethany Baptist church, near Hildebran and burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Abee died Monday in a local hospital as a result of paralysis following a long illness. Born in South Carolina, Mr. Abee was a son of the late Pinkney Abee of Burke county. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Abee, three daughters and five sons.
