Roberto Balderas, 62, of Corpus Christi, Texas went to rest in the arms of theLord on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 after a brief illness.
Judge Robert “Bobby” was a loving father, grandfather and brother. Roberto was a graduate of Moody High School. He worked for over 30 years with the Sheriff Dept. and a J.P. Pct. 1 Place 3 since 2003.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Maria Elena Balderas, his parents, Juan and Guadalupe Balderas, brothers Michael Balderas, Johnny Garcia, sister Sylvia Suarez, aunt and uncle Oralia and Pete Garcia, his in-laws Brigido Ramos Sr. and Adela Ramos, his nephew Timoteo Rodriguez Jr., brothers-in-law Ray Cervantes and Juan Gomez
He is survived by his wife, Ann Balderas; children, Melissa Atkinson (Ector), Robert Balderas Jr. (Yvonne), Rene Balderas (Melanie), Randy Balderas (Lauren); 9 grandchildren, brothers, Eddie Balderas (Hope), Ruben Balderas; sister, Virginia Balderas Bersoza (Salome); sisters-in-law, Mary Wuerth, Lorraine Garcia, Kathleen Hedrick, Gloria Garcia, Janie Cervantes, Benita Gomez; brothers-in-law John Michael Wuerth, Gustavo Suarez, Jesse Ramos (Rosie), Elia Rodriguez (Timoteo), Rudy Ramos (MaryLou), and Brigido Ramos Jr. (Mary).

Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
