Judy was born September 7, 1937 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Bern) Kautsky. She was employed with Hamiltons, St. Mary's Home and Northern Labs.
Survivors include, her significant other Ray Monka; five children: Richard (Carmen) Duening, Sheboygan, Randy (Darlene) Duening, Sheboygan, Deborah (Ken) Larson, Michigan, Linda Rohrer, Two Rivers and Lee (Dori) Duening, Manitowoc; nine grandchildren: Lisa (Patrick) Pahl, Lori (Andy) Veldboom, Jennifer Duening (Seth), Ryan Duening (Lori), Christopher Stoelb, Michael Stewart, Shannon (Andy) Leonhard, Kebrina Bishop, and Serenity Duening; nine great-grandchildren; one sister: Ruth Zarn, Two Rivers. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son-in-law: Robert Rohrer, one brother-in-law: Homer Zarn and one niece: Kathy Semrau.
Judy had a passion for crocheting, reading, ceramics and gardening. She also enjoyed attending all sorts of school activities for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judy loved to travel and experience new adventures. She always had a witty remark and a listening ear.
Judy loved color in all aspects of her life - to honor this, please do not wear black. We would love to see everyone in bright colors.
Cremation has occurred at the All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, 1420 22nd Street, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Matthew Sauer. Judith will be laid to rest at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
