Essie May Anglin Harris, age 87, of Bradyville passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was a native of Williamson County.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Luther Othel Harris of Bradyville; daughters, Peggy (Lonnie) Stephens of LaFayette and Paula (David) Parker of Bradyville; grandchildren, Krista (Lynn) Trail of Bradyville, Brian (Liz) Parker of Murfreesboro, Trenton Stephens of Colorado, and Angela (Don) Moore of Bradyville; great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Kathryn Trail, D.J. and Abigail Moore and Lyla and Liam Parker.

Essie was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Judie Tidwell Anglin; brother, Bernice Anglin, and sister, Annie Pewitt.

Essie was a member of the Bending Chestnut Baptist Church in Franklin and she was a homemaker.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Bro. Danny Freeman officiated. Interment followed at the Ivy Bluff Cemetery in Cannon County. Visitation with the family was held from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, February 3, 2017 at the funeral home.
