Claude Dean McDonald-Budd (Divine), 92, Golden City, she moved to Heaven on Saturday, June 30, 2018.

She married Jack J. McDonald in September of 1941 and they had three children, Jacqueline L. Ball and husband Tom, Jasper, Patricia S. Baugh, Golden City and Darrel L. McDonald and wife Michelle, Golden City; nine grandchildren, Tom Ball, Jasper, Derik Ball, Jasper, Robin Jones, Belton, Terri Edwards, Kirksville, Kalyn Terry, Walnut Grove, Randie Hawkins, Golden City, Justin Anderson, Webb City, Quintin McDonald, Golden City and Coltin McDonald, Golden City and 13 great-grandchildren.

She married Claude Melvin Budd on Sept. 25, 2004 and welcomed eight stepchildren. They are Ronald D. Budd, Jasper, Glenda S. Taylor, Cunningham, Kan., Donna K. Osterdyke, Jasper, Gloria J. Beeman, Humboldt, Kan., James M. Budd, Rogersville, Robyn K. Carter, Jasper, Loretta L. Bowerman, Halltown and Melissa L. Carter, Jasper. She also welcomed many new grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack McDonald on April 17, 1991 and Melvin Budd, June 12, 2005; her brothers and sisters, Virgil Divine, Mary Clements, Sam Divine, Malinda Stilabower and five others at infancy.

Mrs. McDonald-Budd was born August 5, 1925, to Sam and Blanche Divine. She dedicated her life to serving God, her family and others in need. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was co-owner of McDonald Construction Company and worked as the bookkeeper for many years. She loved serving her church and community. She enjoyed time with her friends of the Stone Club, where they quilted, baked and worked on service projects together. She loved serving in the choir and bell choir at church. She was a member of First Christian Church of Golden City.

She will be missed, but she leaves behind many special memories and a reminder to serve others before yourself. Her family celebrates her life and her ultimate dream of an eternity with Jesus.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at Daniel Funeral Home. Rev. Dave Powell will officiate. Graveside services will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery 685-689 SE 115th Ln., Golden City, MO.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at Daniel Funeral Home 1201 Broadway St., Lamar, Missouri.
