Reuben was born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, but he was a long time resident of McQueeney, Texas and Seguin, Texas.
He served in the USAF for 23 years, Vietnam and Berlin Airlift.
He was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He is preceded by David Bertschy. He is survived by his wife Johnnie Bess Cogburn Bertschy, David’s his wife( Dorothy), Kenneth Bertschy (Lynn), Edward Bertschy (Joyce), Carol Martin (Jon), Carl Bertschy (Nona), Sharon Bertschy.
A memorial will be held in Tucson, Arizona. Interment will be in the Pioneers Rest North Cemetery, Two Rivers, WI.
