Rhea (Robinson) Howard of Red Lion, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday morning, July 16, 2018 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born Alma Rhea Robinson on February 1, 1931 in Jackson, KY to Peter and Amanda Robinson. She was raised in Jackson, KY, Tiffin, OH and Middletown, OH and attended Monroe High School. She married the love of her life, Henry Howard on June 26, 1947 and they were married for 45 years. She was a wonderful wife and mother which was the priority in her life. She worked for a short while for Raymond Ball, Murphys, the clinic at the original Jonathan Wright in Springboro and Ponderosa in Franklin. Rhea was a very generous person who helped anyone who needed a helping hand.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lula (Andrew) Lynch, Annie (HenryWise) Back, Ethel (Jesse) Howard, Phoebe (Thomas) Greene, Viola (Boyd) McKenzie, Viccie (Jimmy) Smith, Elsie (Bob) Chaney, Artha Mae (Ormand) Ewing, Toy Marie Robinson, Virginia (M.C.) Howard, Nettie (Ed) Brittian; brothers, Charles (Velma) Robinson, Price (Margaret) Robinson, Otis Robinson and James Robinson. She was also predeceased by her loving husband, Henry Howard; devoted son, Verl Howard; and great grandson, Hunter Young. She is survived by her daughter, Diana (Rev. Bob) Burns; son, Michael Howard; and daughter-in-law, Kathi Howard; grandchildren, Tangela (Chris) Taylor, Kevin (Deann) Burns, Brandon Howard, Cheryl (Ben) Couture, Michael (Stephanie) Howard, Jennifer (Nathan) Harper, Angela Ashley and Ashley Howard; great grandchildren, Ethan (Kelsey) Taylor, Shawna Burns, Kamden Young, Kaitlin (Blake) Butler, Mikela Howard, Clayton Harper, Gracie Young, Lane Howard, Peyton Howard, Mason Howard, Jack Harper, Aiden Couture and Logan Ashley; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends at Cracker Barrel, Salon 1 Twenty Two and her constant canine companion, Maggie.
