Orin was raised in rural west Texas. He was the 11th of 14 children. He married Barbara in 1962. In 1966 they moved to Dallas/Garland Texas area where they raised three children. Orin worked for Affiliated Foods for 31 years. They finally settled in Boyd, Texas where Orin served as a deacon at Trinity Baptist Church. Orin was preceded in death by his wife Barbara; three brothers, and five sisters. He is survived by two sons, a daughter, their spouses, three brothers, two sisters, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
