DEATH OF DAVID LARUE
David LaRue died Sunday morning at 11 o'clock at his home on South Dunn Street.
Mr. LaRue was one of the oldest and best known citizens of the county and about
a year ago moved from is farm four miles west of town and has since resided on
South Dunn Street. A week ago he suffered from a stroke of paralysis from which
he never rallied. He was 88 years of age and leaves a wife and several
children, most of whom are married. Mr. LaRue was a member of the Methodist
Church and for years has been a faithful and conscientious Christian. He was a
generous and kind-hearted man and was held in high esteem by all his
acquaintances.
The funeral will take place from the residence Tuesday morning at ten
o'clock. Friends of the family are invited.
