Virginia "Gin" Harris was born September 16, 1934, in Mystic, Georgia. After graduating from Ocilla in 1954, she attended Fort Valley State University, in Fort Valley, GA., where she majored in Home Economics. She later attended The Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio. She was a member of Kingdom Power Baptist Church. Virginia had a love for gardening, both in the garden and her flower beds. On June 27, 2018, at the age of 83, Virginia was called home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Harris, parents Mary and Elige Crumedy, sister Clara Graham, and brothers Harold and John Crumedy. Virginia is survived by her three children, Sophia, Anthonette "Toni" and Terrence (Paula); sister Martha Sawyer and brother Harvey Crumedy; nephew Rodney Sawyer; four grandchildren, Tya (Joseph III) Armstrong, Taryn, Terrence Jr., and Robert; two great grandchildren, Joseph IV and Aidan; and a host of nieces, nephews, beloved family members and friends.
