WILLIE H. ARBAUGH, resident of Harrison, Arkansas, born May 8, 1926, in Compton, Arkansas, daughter of Ralph and Jessie (Beaver) Gibbins went to her heavenly home Sunday, July 22, 2018, with family by her side in Harrison, at the age of 92 years.
Willie retired from Levi Strauss Company after 38 years. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for her grandkids, sewing clothes for them when they were little, reading, listening to gospel music and watching her "stories".
She's survived by two sons, Kirby (Karen) and Shelvey (Alicia) of Harrison, AR; one daughter, Marcella (Jim) of Dry Fork, AR; her brother, Riner (Cleo); eleven grandchildren, Kent, Kara (Eric), Justin, Katrena (Jeff), Teresa (Jimmy), Tammy (Perry), Tonya (Heithe), Jimmy Jr. (Jenny), Sheldon (Amanda), Sheydon and Adie; nineteen great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
On January 22, 1944 she was united in marriage with Leon Arbaugh who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Marissa Dale Arbaugh; four brothers, Clefford Gibbins, Ebert Gibbins, Ocalee Gibbins and one infant brother; and four sisters, Nola Newberry, Vola Grigg, Freda Villines and Berniece Gibbins.
Visitation was 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. Harrison.
Funeral service was 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2018, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Brother Donnie Villines and Brother Eddie Reed officiating.
Pallbearers were Sheldon Arbaugh, Jimmy Morris Jr., Jeff Gott, Jimmy McIntosh, Perry Butler and Heithe Williams.
Honorary pallbearers were Willie's grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Plumlee Cemetery.
