Lacy was born on July 26, 1954 to parents Arch Creel and Laura Lee (Allison) Dixon of La Plata, MO. She graduated in 1972 from La Plata RII Schools. Lacy went on to earn a B.S. in marketing from the University of Ill. Champaign. From the early 90's she worked concurrently for two marketing companies developing markets for imported South American wines, first in the Chicago area until 1995, then to Dallas, Texas until 2001, Longmont, Colorado next until 2008. Then back to the Chicago area for a competing company tp present.
Even though Lacy wouldn't enjoy the fruit of her career for long, she had taken steps to honor and reward some of her closest friend and charitable organizations as beneficiaries of several annuities she established for them.
Lacy leaves this world to join those who preceded her int0 the kingdom of heaven, beginning with two infant sisters, Jodi and Lynn, followed by brother Ed in 1986, beloved father and mother Arch Creel and Laura Lee "Allison" Dixon 1990 and2007 respectively' Brother Creel Bennet Dixon of Beloit, MN survives her and her family members wife Carolyn, daughter Beth Hanke, son Bradley Dixon, Brother Ed's heirs, daughter Laura Shroyer, and sons Thad, and Adam alsong with ormer spouseConnie Mandacin.
A celebration of lfe event is beuing planned for immdiate family membears and co-workers for mid August in Darien, IL.
In lieu of a memorial family and friends encourage everyone to support Alzheimer and Dementia care givers anyway they can and give generously to research efforts to fine a cure for this class of diseases.
