Mr. Edward (Ed) Bradford Gellert, of Boise, Idaho born on September 8, 1924 in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania, passed away at age 93 on July 5, 2018 in Boise, Idaho.

Edward, a Phi Beta Kappa, graduated from Yale. Edward served as an Army Air Force B29 navigator in WW II and subsequently worked in the advertising industry, retiring as CEO of Cipra in 2012. Edward was the beloved husband of the late Audrey Freese Gellert.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Nathan Henry Gellert and sister Eleanor Cowell.

Edward is survived by his son, E. Bradford Gellert; daughters, Audrey Marie Taylor and Christina M.H.E. Linane and his sister, Helen Gary, as well as three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his greatly beloved dogs, Boomer and Caesar.

He had a passion for tennis and sailing. He was a member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the memorial service on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at St. Michaels, 518 N 8th St., Boise, Idaho, 83702.
