Evelyn Marie Barthelemy, 77, of Olney, formerly of Noble, died at 10:11 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2007, at Richland Care & Rehab in Olney.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Olney Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Doug Romine officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Garden in rural Claremont.

Mrs. Barthelemy was born March 13, 1930, in Richland County, the daughter of Omer R. and Ida Mae (Westfall) Fulk. She married Virgil Eugene Barthelemy on March 19, 1948, in Jasper County. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1991.

She was retired from working in retail and as a nurse's aide for many years. She was a member of Olney Church of the Nazarene. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Barthelemy is survived by her sons, Virgil E. Barthelemy Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Centralia, Richard L. Barthelemy and his wife, Glenda, of Noble, and Roy D. Barthelemy and his wife, Tonya, of West Salem; grandchildren, Kenneth Barthelemy and his wife, Kari, of Iuka, Michelle Barthelemy, of Freeburg, Keith Barthelemy, of Centralia, Chad Barthelemy and his wife, Shelly, of Noble, Shannon Barthelemy and his wife, Jennifer, of Newton, Chris Barthelemy and his wife, Crystal, of Terre Haute, Ind., Mandy Heaton, of Sumner, Dustin Barthelemy and his wife, Lori, of Olney, Amy Marceaux, of Westville, and Troy Barthelemy, of West Salem; great-grandchildren, Dakota Barthelemy, of Iuka, Mercedes Harmon and Brandon Barthelemy, of Noble, Macy Barthelemy, of Newton, Justin, Danielle and Eli Paul, of Terre Haute, Ind., Brittany, Alyssa and Angel Heaton, of Sumner, Kelsi and Katie Barthelemy, of Olney, and Kale Dove, Von and Aerianna Marceaux, of Westville; sisters, Pauline Stadge, of Noble, and Betty Lacey, of Olney; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Burgener and her husband, Wayne, of Olney, and Betty Watters and her husband, Myron, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Kenny and John Fulk; sister, Linda Fulk; and granddaughter, Katlyn Marie Barthelemy.
