Douglas "Doug" M. Boguslawski, son of John and Beverly (Kemling) Boguslawski, passed away January 11, 2018 at his home in Pinewood Springs (Lyons), Colorado. He was 57 years old.

Doug was born in Gary, IN on October 22, 1960. He graduated from Valparaiso High School (Valparaiso, IN) in 1979. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1980; after being honorably discharged he obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Technology from Purdue University in 1988.

In 1989, Doug moved to Colorado where he worked for various data storage technology corporations; most recently Western Digital in Longmont, CO. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Legion Post 32 in Longmont for over 20 years. Doug enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing and was an avid pool player.

He was preceded in death by his mother Beverly and his brother-in-law Jeffrey Schwenn.

Doug is survived by his father John of West Burlington, IA; his sisters Karen Schwenn of Lyons, CO and Ann Peters and her husband Dr. Douglas Peters of Burlington, IA; his niece and nephew Abby and Jacob Peters.
