Elizabeth "Betty" Findora, 94, a former resident of Kingston, passed into eternal life Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Partridge-Tippett Nursing Facility of the Wesley Village Campus, Jenkins Twp., where she was a guest for the past year.
Her beloved husband, the late Ambrose J. Findora, passed away on Jan. 9, 1988. Together, Betty and Ambrose shared over 40 wonderful years of marriage.
Born June 15, 1924, in Luzerne, Betty was one of four children born to the late Andrew and Bertha Rynks Frohman.
Raised in Luzerne, Betty was a graduate of the former Luzerne High School.
Betty was a homemaker most of her life, and she tended to the daily needs of her family with love and devotion.
Betty was a faithful Catholic and a member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne. Prior to its closing, she was a life member of St. John Nepomucene Church, Luzerne.
Throughout her life, Betty found peace and tranquility in visiting the ocean. In her younger days, she and her husband enjoyed vacationing in Atlantic City, N.J. As time went on, she and her sister, Marie, enjoyed visiting the casinos in Atlantic City.
Betty was an avid football fan who enjoyed rooting for her favorite teams, Notre Dame, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Above all, Betty's greatest joy in life was spending time with her loved ones, most especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Although her presence will be deeply missed, her beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her beloved family.

Betty is survived by her four children, Debra Myers and her husband, Fred, Kingston; Charles Findora and his wife, Barbara, Coatesville; Kathryn Judge and her husband, James, Chester Springs; and Beth Keyser and her husband, Bruce, Cranbury, N.J.; her 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; her sister, Helen Moody, and her husband, Thomas, Wynnewood; her cousin, Marie Nevolas, Swoyersville; as well as generations of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral which will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from Wroblewski Funeral Home Inc., 1442 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Parish, 574 Bennett St., Luzerne, with the Rev. Joseph J. Pisaneschi, officiating.
Interment with the Rite of Committal will follow in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dallas.
