She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Juanita Roberts of Christiansburg, Va.; daughter, Cindy Hutchinson. Surviving family includes her husband, James Robert Custer (Bobby); children, Tommy Crotts and wife, Lisa, Renee Deck and husband, Jeff, Janet Scott, Johnny and Robert Custer; grandchildren, Lori Howe and husband, Emerson, Anthony Crotts and wife, Shelby, Eric Blankenship and wife, Chelsea, Melissa May, Justin Deck and wife, Sammie, Zach Deck, Channing Smith; great grandchildren, Addison Sue Crotts, Brody and Garrett Deck, Landen and Laikan May, Makenzie and Kylie Blankenship; brother, Hoover Roberts and wife, Sadie; sisters, Fay Curtis, Nancy Mcgrady, Peggy Woolwine and husband, Jay, Cookie Hughes and husband, Mike. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Jim Morris officiating followed by burial at Halls Cemetery off of Newport Rd., Catawba, Va. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home Salem.
