Diagnosed with various forms of heart disease, parkinson's disease and metastatic carcinoma, she died from a heart attack within 3 minutes of onset on Thu, 7 Oct 1976 while an inpatient for only 3 days at the Care Inn Nursing Home. The measure of her life spanned 80 years, 3 months and 6 days.
