Funeral service for Jeffrey Neil Portman, age 61 of O’Fallon , will be Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Pastor Jason Sharp will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Philippine Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jul 29, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM .
Jeffrey passed away on Sunday, Jul 22, 2018 while visiting family in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born on Jun 19, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to Sanford Portman and the late Sandra M. Portman. He was Board member of A.R.C Angels Foundation as well as a Coach for the Sharks Swim Team of the Special Olympics Missouri.
Beloved husband of the late Cathy Portman and the loving father of his Daughter, Jennifer (Peter) Mauro; Son, William B. Portman; proud grandpa of Kaiya, Noah and Daniel Mauro; dear brother of Barry (Sherie) Portman, Mindee Portman and Kathy McNutt. Jeffrey was a dear son-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He was a very kind, hardworking and charitable man. He will be missed by all who knew him.
