GA Death Certificate gives her name as Elizabeth Elaine, however, the 1870 Henry Co census gives her name as Emily. She was the daughter of Francis Asbury Morris and Mary Farmer.

She married John Milam on 19 Mar 1856 in Henry Co GA. They were the parents of Fannie, William, Mary and John Franklin Milam.

John enlisted in Co E 30th GA Regiment. Elizabeth filed for a widows pension beginning in 1891. She states that he contracted disease in Mississippi around the city of Jackson in the summer of 1863, that he died in the hospital in Oxford GA and that his remains were brought to his home in Henry Co and buried. There is a headstone for him in this cemetery. Her death certificate states that she is buried at Old Concord Cemetery, the informant was her daughter, Mrs M C Pattillo. Elizabeth likely rests in an unmarked grave beside her husband.
