Delores Ellen Hatcher, 75, a resident of McLeansboro, Illinois, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was born May 5, 1943 in McLeansboro, IL to Howard and Novie (Nations) Sneed. Delores was a retired real estate broker and was also a member of the Blooming Grove Baptist Church.
Delores is survived by her husband, William Alan “Bill” Hatcher of McLeansboro, IL; daughters, Debra (John) Barker of McLeansboro, IL and Tracey (Michael) Lowe of Beecher, IL; six grandchildren, Heath (wife Amie), Jared, Matthew, Cortney (husband Alex), Danielle (husband Braden) and Savannah; three great grandchildren, Anna, Jocelyn and Clayton; sisters, Virginia Huelsing of Tuetopolis, IL and Karen (Charles) Shupe of Albion, IL; brother-in-law, Charles Hatcher of Monee, IL; several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother-in-law.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the Blooming Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Blooming Grove Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in the Blooming Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Blooming Grove Baptist Church or the Carmi Baptist Children's Home and will be accepted at the Blooming Grove Baptist Church or the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
