MURRAY TUNNEY 42 Year Employee of Mother Parker Foods Ltd. Peacefully, with his wife at his side, on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at St. Michael's Hospital after a heroic battle with cancer. Murray Tunney, in his 70th year, adored husband of Teresita Bautista Tunney and greatly loved by her son Alex and his wife Sunshine. Proud Poppa to Joshua and Aaliyah Bautista. Survived by his sisters Teresa McDonnell (Frank, 1989) and Anne O'Neill (Harry, 2011) and his brother Jerry (Renate) and sister-in-law Connie Tunney (Peter, 2012). Predeceased by his brother Peter on May 16, 2012 and brother Jack (2004) (Ann, 1991). Son of Fidelis Merrick (1969) and Thomas Tunney (2000) (Marie, 2000). Murray will be greatly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews, friends and former colleagues. Sincere thanks to Dr. C. Simmons and the staff of 2 Queen Medical Day Care and Dr. I. La Delfa and the staff of SMH Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate care. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 740 Annette Street, Toronto on May 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., interment, with his brother Peter, Mount Hope Cemetery.
