Alonzo Columbus Robbins, 87 of Paoli, Indiana passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at his home. He was born on October 13, 1930 in Paoli, Indiana to Thomas Robbins and Lori King Robbins. He married Alice Rose Rutherford.

He was preceded by his parents, his wife Alice, twelve siblings, Esther, Cecil, Paul, Chester, Faith, Monroe, Victor, Ollie, Ruth, Johnnie and Mary.

He was a farmer and a truck driver.

He had a love for music and he enjoyed entertaining people playing his steel guitar and dobro. He also enjoyed motorcycles.

He was a member of the Paoli Christian Church, Paoli Masonic Lodge #119 F&AM, Paoli VFW, Post #8302, and the American Legion #Post 8302 in Paoli, Indiana and he was also a US Army Korean War Veteran.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell Street, Paoli, Indiana. Interment following in the Stampers Creek Cemetery. Military Rites will be done at his services. Visitation to be held from 11:00 AM Sunday until the time of service at the funeral home.
