May Matilda Wilson married Mason Van Buren Carter (11 May 1877-Aug 1945) in 1901 in Urbana, Champaign Co., IL. In the 1920 Census, she was living with Mason in Stuttgart, Arkansas Co., Arkansas, with her mother, Mary M. Foster, 67, widow, born in Kentucky, Mary Moss Davis (b. 1851, Kentucky), remarried after May's father's death in 1895. May is buried next to her mother in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Apparently the Carters had no children.
