On August 30, 1946 in Portland, Oregon he married Lavona McGuire; she survives along with 3 children, David (Janice) Culp, Diana Jacoby, Dennis (Karen) Culp, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Also surviving are 2 siblings, Shirley Myers and Charles (Mary) Culp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Danny Culp, brother, Ernest Culp and a grandson Tadd Culp.
Lawrence was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving from 1945-1948 during WWII. He was formally employed at Uniroyal for 15 years and Zimmerman Plumbing as a tool shop manager until his retirement.
Per his wishes there will be no services and cremation will take place.
