Mr. Charles "Luther" Mathis, age 74, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on August 2, 2018 at his home. Born in Fannin County, GA, he was the son of the late William Clarence Mathis and Flora Mae Franklin Mathis. After retiring from Commercial Contracting, Luther later retired again from the Fannin County Road Department as the Road Superintendent. He was a lifelong member of Lebanon Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for many years and also served on the cemetery committee. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was an avid outdoorsman. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia Ritchie Mathis.
