Dennis Ray Anglen, 48, passed away on August 21, 2003. He was born September 6, 1954, in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Harold "Shorty" and Alice Anglen. Mr. Anglen was employed over 20 years with the Navy Public Works Center and was a member of IBEW-Local #734. Survivors include his devoted wife of 30 years, Susan C. Anglen; a son, Adam R. Anglen; and a daughter, Rebecca L. Anglen. He is also survived by a brother, Terry Anglen and wife Anne of Norfolk, VA; his wife's parents, Juan and Mary Correa of Norfolk, VA; brother-in-law, Joe Correa and wife Kathy of Leesport, PA; two uncles, Paul Anglen and wife Lavone of Kansas City, MO and Tracy Anglen of Deerfield Beach, FL; a niece, Angela Anglen; and two nephews, Neil and Bryce Anglen of Norfolk, VA; along with his lifelong best friend, Tommy Ramsey and wife Patty of Norfolk, VA. Dennis will be remembered fondly by the many hearts he touched as a family man and one who embraced life. Services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Advent on Sherwood Place in Norfolk with Father's Robert R. Gilman and William C. Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery immediately following the service. Family visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel is handling arrangements.
