Valley County Pioneer Called to Great Beyond
With the death on Tuesday of this week of Mrs. Ida Roosevelt, is marked the passing of another of the Valley County pioneers. Mrs. Ida Roosevelt, passed away after an illness covering several weeks at the home of her son, near Willow Creek, forty miles southwest of this city, on Tuesday, November 30th.
The deceased was sixty-six years of age, and was the wife of Theodore Roosevelt, who died five years ago. She was a native of the state of Wisconsin, and came her with her husband about twenty years ago, the family settling in this county.
She leaves to mourn her loss four sons, all of whom are living, Arthur, Victor and Charles who reside in the Willow Creek community, and James of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church in Glasgow at one o'clock this afternoon, Rev. Allen officiating. Interment was made in Glasgow cemetery.

She had four sons: Arthur Albert, James, Charles A, and Victor R Roosevelt.
She married Theodore "Theo" Allen Roosevelt on August 17, 1874 in Portage, Columbia County, Wisconsin.
