Duncan A was the son of the late Duncan and Elizabeth (Wellman)McKellar, he had two brothers Hiram and Michael and two sisters Jennie and Lottie.
Duncan married Mary Rondo January 24,1889 in Elmwood and they had nine children Maggie, Gracie(1893), Clayton(1900), Marie(1902), Lucille(1906), Joline(1908), Lee(1911), Fred(1912) and Bessie(1916).
Duncan worked as a fieldman for Michigan Surgar Co for 46 years.
Survivors are his wife; three sons Clayton, Lee and Fred; three daughters Margaret, Lucille and Bessie; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and two brothers Hiram and Michael.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his three daughters Grace, Joline(1909) and Marie(1925).
Duncan and Mary had celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary last Jan 1944.
