Orrie Mast, 88, of 4458 T.R. 617, Millersburg, died Sunday, April 28, 2002, in Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg following a brief illness.
She was born near Bunker Hill on May 27, 1913 to the late Joe and Mattie Miller Gingerich and had lived all of her life in Holmes County and was a member of the Old Order Amish.
On December 24, 1935, she married Christ A. Mast. He died March 3, 1979.
Surviving are children, Henry Mary Mast of Brinkhaven, Anna Raymond Miller of Dundee, Andy Linda Mast of the home, and Ray Deborah Mast of Mount Hope; a daughter-in-law, Ada Mast of Shreve; 36 grandchildren; 119 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Susie Troyer of Guerne and Verna Gingerich of Bunker Hill; a brother, Joe Gingerich of Canton; a sister-in-law, Ada Shetler of Conewango Valley, NY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Levi Mast, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM at her residence with Bishop Andy Wengerd officiating. Burial will be in the Stutzman Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes Co. Friends may call anytime at her home. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling arrangements.
