JAMES BLOOMFIELD
(1937-1997)

James Kenneth Bloomfield, 60, of Vanceburg, Ky., died Thursday, June 5, 1997, at home.

Born May 6, 1937, in Vanceburg, a son of the late Harvey Bloomfield and Marie James Bloomfield, he worked for Nine-West Corporation in Vanceburg.

Surviving are his wife, Rosana Smith Bloomfield; two sons, James Allen Bloomfield and Phillip Lee Bloomfield, both of Vanceburg; a daughter, Vicky Hardman of Vanceburg; two sisters, Gay Smith of Vanceburg and Loretta Carver of Carter City, Ky.; and two grandchildren.

He also was preceded in death by a half brother, Homer Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, with the Rev. Harold Eugene Evans officiating, and interment in Nolan Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 pm. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
