Actress. She began her career as a Broadway actress and co-writer for her brother director Abe Finkel, in the 1920s. In 1921, she met and later married actor Paul Muni after appearing in a play in the Yiddish theatre together. Relocating to California, in the 1930s, she was employed as screenwriter and character actor at Warner Brothers Studios where husband became a prestigious performer. After she retired with her husband in 1962, she remained with him until his death.
