Ancee Edwin “A.E.” Keeney, 83, passed away Friday, August 10, 2018.
Funeral service will be held 2 pm on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 in the Minton Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. In lieu of flowers his memory may be honored with a gift to a charity of choice.
A.E. was born December 1, 1934 in Portales, New Mexico to Raphael Keeney and Clarice Jones Keeney. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. In his younger years, he liked to go dancing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Stanley Keeney; and sister, Theresa Jackson.
Survivors include his daughter, Liesa Whiteley and husband Bruce of Borger; four grandchildren, Amy Barnett and husband Shawn, Kristen Doughten and husband Craig, Grayston Keeney, Makayla Frentress; two great grandchildren, Logan and Zane Barnett; and brothers, R.M. “Mert” Keeney and wife Frieda of Dumas, and Stan Keeney and wife Billie of Amarillo.
