Mrs. Albina Metiva, 66, of Saginaw, Mich., who had resided the past month with a son, Emanuel Hooper, of 701 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Saturday night at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Saginaw, with Father La Marre officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Saginaw County, Mich.

Mrs. Metiva was born in Austria Jan. 21, 1893, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Karl Gabdzye, and came to the United States with them as a young girl. The family settled in Michigan. She was married to Earl Metiva, who died April 19, 1959.

Mrs. Metiva is survived by the son, a daughter, Mrs. Philip Schneider, of North Dakota and several grandchildren.

The casket was moved from Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc to Deisler Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson St., Saginaw, where the body will be in state after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
