Mrs. Lillie Bell Burks died in San Jose yesterday at the age of 76. A native of Oklahoma, she had been a resident of Madera since 1943. She is survived by two sons, Alfred Burks of Madera, and Cecil Burks of California; four daughters, Mrs. Ida Roberts and Mrs. Ddra Whitehead, both of San Jose. Mrs. Mollie Parks of Lake Village, Ark., and Mrs. Ollie Mae Jones of St. Perrys, Ohio; 33 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Madera Funeral Home chapel Wednesday at 10 am. Interment will be in Arbor Vitae cemetery.
