Mrs. Frances Shaw, age 90, passed away Wednesday August 8, 2018 at her daughter's residence in Sardis, MS. The family will receive friends on Saturday August 11, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. until service time beginning 1:00 p.m. at Crowder Baptist Church. Interment to follow in Crowder Cemetery, Crowder, MS.
Mrs. Shaw was a member of Crowder Baptist Church, former Sunday School, Training Union Teacher and member of Senior Citizens Club of Crowder Baptist Church. She was also retired from Panola Mills, Inc in Batesville, MS.
Survivors include her daughter: Linda Stone (Robert) of Sardis, MS; two sisters: Tommie Jean White of Senatobia, MS; Shirley Foster of Picayune, MS; eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Gillespie Shaw, her parents Gaines & Willie Ann Tiner and four brothers: Roland, Charles, Clifford & Jimmy Tiner. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
