Robin Renae Cloyd Gentry, age 48, of Owenton, passed away unexpectedly at her home, on Saturday, August 11, 2018.

Born January 4, 1970 in Frankfort, KY, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Louise Wilhoite Cloyd. Robin was an employee of the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the Division of Underground Storage Tanks. She enjoyed genealogy work, collecting Barbie and making crafts. She loved the community of Monterey and used her talents on the Monterey Fair planning committee and by hosting a silent auction. Robin was a friend to all and loved attending concerts when she was younger.

Robin is survived by her husband, Johnny Gentry; her children, Johnathan Scott Gentry and Kimberly Marie Gentry as well as host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday with Bro. Everett Hawkins presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Monterey Cemetery.
