Betty Louise Carley
July 31, 1931 - July 17, 2018

Betty passed away peacefully on July 17, 2018 in Rancho Mirage, after a short battle with cancer.

She is survived by her daughter Jude Gogan (Sean), her brother in law Michael Loscavio Sr., her sister in law Dede White, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and friends. She is proceeded in death by her husband George Carley, her sister Leslie Loscavio, her brother Richard White, and her parents Leslie and Grace White.

Even though Betty recently moved to the desert, she always considered her self a San Franciscan. She attended Notre Dame des Victoires and Lone Mountain College where she met her future husband George, a member of the now famous 1951 University of San Francisco Dons football team.

Betty was a volunteer and then staff member at Irwin memorial Blood Bank for over 20 years, and volunteered at the de Young Museum, and the Dominican Mission. She was also a member of Loyola Guild.
