Grace L. Altman, 72, of Saxonburg, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, in Saxony Health Care, Saxonburg. She was born Oct. 27, 1933, in Homestead, to the late Lawrence S. and Grace E. Randolph Palmer Sr., and had lived in this area all of her life. She was formerly employed as a LPN at Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington, and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Springdale. Survivors include a daughter, Gretchen Dorbritz, of New Kensington; and three grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah and Robert III Dorbritz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Altman; and a brother, Lawrence S. Palmer Jr. Friends will be received from noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. Wednesday in SPRINGDALE at the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St., with burial to follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
