Alice Carolyn Walker, age 78, died August 17, 2018 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was born August 10, 1940 in Bragg City, Missouri to the late Roy Lee and Florence (Chandler) Baker.

Carolyn was a member of Illinois Avenue Baptist Church, had owned and operated Carol's Cleaning Service and had been a sales clerk for Eubanks-Finney Department Store before retiring.

On November 23, 1954 she married Ellis Ray Walker; he preceded her in death October 5, 2012.

She is survived by one son, Mitchell Walker of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Anita & Kelley Nelson of Sikeston; one sister, Jean Eubanks of Kennett, Missouri; 8 grandchildren, Brittni Cutlip, Ashli Jenkins, Kaci Self, Kyli Stokes, Matthew Walker, Mekenzi Walker and Mason Walker; 12 great-grandchildren, Megan Sutton, Brianna Hillyard, Madyson Walker, Nolan Self, Emma-Claire Self, Sam Self, Sharon "Shay" Nelson, Eileen Walker, Hazel Walker, Hali Stokes, Charli Stokes and Rayne Stokes; and 3 great-great-grandchildren, Kendalyn Sutton, Emersyn Sutton and Jax Sutton.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 21, from 5:00 p.m. until time of memorial services at 7:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Johnie Sliger, pastor of Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church, will officiate.

A private interment will be held later at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
