In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Frank Harding Caldwell; daughter, Faye Hicks; 2 sisters, Peggy West and Betty Jean Hester, 2 brothers, Buck and Jack Waugh and great grandson, Logan Caldwell.
She is survived by:

2 Sons: Mickey Caldwell and wife Ann and Bobby Caldwell and wife Brenda, both of Maiden
7 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Greatgrandchildren
2 Sisters: Vera Jarvis of Statesville and Helen Meadows of Mooresville
4 Brothers: Johnny Waugh of Statesville, Jerry Waugh of Mooresville, Jimmy Waugh of GA and Larry Waugh of Roanoke Rapids, NC
Son-in-law: Mack Hicks of Maiden
Caregivers: Jodi Hicks and Sue Benfield, both of Maiden
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Anderson Baptist Church in Maiden with Revs Donald Cline and Charles Ingle officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, from 12:45- 1:45 p.m., at the church, prior to the service.
