FRANK E. ALBERTSON "Frank A" Frank E. Albertson, of Orange, passed away Jan 19, 2005 at home in the loving care of his wife and Hospice, of COPD. He was 70 years. Frank Edwin Albertson was born January 15, 1935 to Frank and Virginia Albertson in Hollywood California. Born into a theatrical family he chose not to follow in his parents footsteps. Instead he began what turned out to be a 35-year roller coaster ride with Hughes Aircraft Company first in manufacturing as an Industrial Engineer and later on as a Marketing Manager. He was a loving Husband and Father, Uncle and Brother, Toastmaster and Elk. But most of his friends knew him as "Frank A" a proud 35-year active member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Those who didn't know the scrappy little guy with the gravely voice who had a life changing story to tell really missed out. And the countless numbers that did hear that story, they will remember him always. You always knew you were in for an experience when you sat down and heard; "Hi, my name is Frank A and I'm an alcoholic!" He was a man loved by many and will be missed by all! Frank is survived by his girls; loving wife Jeanne of 50 years, daughters Deborah, Julie, Tracy, Terri and grandchildren; Karra, Laura, Sarah, Wesley, Heather and Hayley. A memorial will be held at the New Community Church in Irvine January 29th at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to the American Lung Assoc. of OC and St. Joseph Hospice, whose staff gave compassion and care to Frank and his family during his long illness.
