Sandra Welch, 77, of Carthage, passed away Sunday afternoon, Aug. 19, 2018, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Sandra was born April 3, 1941, the daughter of Melvin and Darlene (Smith) Faulkner in Carthage. She graduated from Carthage High School. On April 30, 1960, she was united in marriage to William J. "Bill" Welch at the First Christian Church in Carthage. He preceded her in death. Sandra was a homemaker, enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family. Her positive spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Sandra is survived by four sons; seven grandchildren; her siblings, six living sisters, one living brother, and Barbara Jean Faulkner & Donald Faulkner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; a daughter-in-law, Pam; and brothers, Richard and Tom "Butch" Faulkner.
Private family graveside services will be held at Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage. Printy Funeral Home of Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
