Jessie was the eldest daughter of John Mackenzie and his wife Georgina Campbell.

Married George Thomas Limn on the 22nd May 1910. After George died, Jessie and her six children immigrated to Australia.

Jessie died at the Wontama Homes, in Orange from Carcinoma of Breast (Breast Cancer).

Jessie was cremated at the Canobolas Gardens Crematorium in Orange. It is unknown if her Ashes were interred there or at Katoomba.
