Frank William "Jumbo" Veltrano, 53, died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at his home.
Born July 25, 1951, in Escondido, he lived in Rincon Indian Reservation in Valley Center for 53 years.
He was a heavy equipment operator for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. He enjoyed gardening, rodeo roping and music. He was a member of the Union Local 12.
Mr. Veltrano is survived by his wife of 14 years, Donna Veltrano of Rincon; mother Mary Veltrano of Escondido; son Frank of Manhattan, N.Y.; stepson Thomas of Northern California; daughters Beth of Menifee and Colleen of Escondido; stepdaughter Helen of Northern California; sisters Angela, Juanita "Hooter" and Anastasia "Cookie" all of Rincon; and grandchildren Alexis, Moses, Olivia and DJ.
