Joyce was born on May 8, 1943 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Arnold and Eleanor (Cisler) Nilsen. She worked as a supervisor for the United States Postal Service for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Donald (Katie) Krenner, New Lenox, IL; one brother: Kenneth Nilsen, Crown Point, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother; Richard Nilsen.

Funeral services were held at Elmhurst, Illinois. She was laid to rest at
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Nilsen was born February 13, 1911 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late John
and Anna Hrdina Cisler. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth and Richard; a
daughter, Joyce Kremmer; two sisters, Elsie Harrington and Anna Mahnke; eight
grandchildren and a great grandchild also survive.
