Marlborough-Gerard Aram Hovagimian, 64, of Marlborough passed away Friday, July 13, 201 at his brother's home in Sutton, where he currently was residing.

He leaves his brother, Michael A. Hovagimian and his wife, Debra and two nephews, Michael A. Hovagimian, Jr. and Dillon A. Hovagimian. He was born in Worcester, son of A. Gerard and Rose (Hamparsoomian) Hovagimian and graduated from Marlborough High School.
Gerry worked for many years in the high tech industry as an engineer including such companies as Data General, HP and EMC as well as always pursuing his real passion of owning his own bike shop, that eventually became his full-time job. Gerry owned and operated Trek Stop Bicycles in North Grafton, recently retiring to his brother's home due to illness.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, July 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. His funeral service will be held Thursday, July 19 at 11a.m. at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gerry's memory to the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester, 01609.
