Thomas R. Kabat, of Manitowoc, WI was 67 years of age when he passed away Saturday morning, August 25, 2018 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Gladyce Kabat; two brothers: Richard Kabat and Gary Kabat.
Tom is the son of the late Edward L. and Gladyce J. (Karn) Kabat. He attended local area schools and graduated with the class of 1969 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School.
He served during the Vietnam War in the United States Army from March of 1971 until his honorable discharge in October 1972. On October 5, 1996, he married the former Cathy Rae Anders at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
Tom was owner of T.K.'s Painting & Stain for over 45 years. He enjoyed gardening (flowers & vegetables), biking and swimming. Tom was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and was a volunteer at the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
